About

ABOUT US

All programs are designed to provide you with experiences that you will remember and use over a lifetime whatever your age, ability or background.

WHO WE ARE

Established in 2011, Arts Unlimited Southwest is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit community arts organization designed to provide musical and visual arts instruction to children, youth, and adults of all abilities and skill levels.  We offer classes in strings, winds, voice, piano, guitar and art, as well as the New Horizons Band designed primarily for retired adults, and Music Together for babies and their caregivers.

OUR VISION

Our goal is to enrich the lives of the individual and the community through music, language and the visual arts. With the support of experienced teachers, children that may be at risk and individuals from under served populations also acquire experiences that they may transfer to other areas of learning. Our program offers a worthwhile alternative to children watching television and participating in unsupervised behaviors.

WHAT'S NEW

  • We are proud to have started our first Fine Arts Camp this summer.  Over 4 weeks, seventeen children sang songs, did a variety of art projects, performed in 2 concerts on their newly learned instruments, participated in various musical games and team building activities.  We laughed a lot in the midst of the all the teaching and learning. We plan to continue growing this camp next year.
  • We have begun a Concert Series that exposes our community to live performances of outstanding artists from different genres and different countries.
